On my usual trip to Spain, I usually go spearfishing. I live in a small fishing village in the northern part of Galicia in the area close to Burela and Vivero. The water there is a little cold and if you want to go spearfishing for extended periods at a time, it would be smart to bring a wet suit. The water is around the tempurature of 55 degrees. Using top-of-the-line products really helps when you go spearfishing. For my spearfishing specifications I use a 7 mm Farmer John and jacket giving me a 14 mm of protection on the thighs, crotch, chest and back, the hood has 7 mm of protection, you hardly feel the water around you. A brandy new Cressi Sub Apache speargun that cost me 11,000pts. ($120.00 approx). The Apache is 95 cm in length. It has a reel atachment as an option for 2,000pts. ($21.00 approx). On the same speargun I use a laser pointing device to , this makes it almost impossible to miss a target. I don't use that often though.
